Organisation email domain verification — product status and what to use today.
Current product status
Organisation-level verified domains (prove you control @company.com to
unlock domain-gated invites, SSO-style assumptions, or automatic membership
rules) are not documented as a shipped feature in the open-source ctx|
stack at this time.
Today, access is governed by explicit invitations and roles — see Adding team members.
What you can do today
- Invite colleagues by email from Settings → Members.
- Use social login (GitHub / Google / Microsoft) where enabled on your deployment — still subject to invite + membership for a given org.
- Self-host and keep identity entirely in infrastructure you control; see Authentication.
Why this page exists
Enterprise buyers often ask for domain verification early. This doc sets expectations: ctx| is honest about what is wired today so you do not plan an onboarding flow that the OSS UI cannot yet enforce.
